ÇELIK HALAT, TURKEY'S FIRST WIRE ROPE FACTORY

Çelik Halat was established in Kocaeli on March 23, 1962 with the partnership of Yatırımlar Holding, Türkiye Sınai Kalkınma Bankası A.Ş., Nuri Rodop, Nedim Rodop and Yüksel Kenanoğlu.

The company, whose shares started to be traded on the stock exchange in 1986, was transferred to Doğan Holding in 1997. On November 29, 2022, Artaş Group and Betatrans companies took over Çelik Halat from Doğan Holding. In the public disclosure (KAP) dated December 17, 2024, a share transfer was carried out between Çelik Halat ve Tel Sanayii A.Ş. and its partner Betatrans, increasing Artaş Holding’s share in our company’s capital to 75.22%.

With an annual production capacity of 70.000 tons; Çelik Halat easily meets their customer’s production specifications for varying diameters, qualities and compositions with the production of wire ropes, mechanical spring wires, galvanized mechanical spring wires, patented wires and prestressed concrete strands.

TURKEY’S FIRST WIRE ROPE R&D CENTER

Since 2018, Çelik Halat has boasted the country’s first Research and Development Center of certified Wire Rope, continually building on the quality and performance with sustanaible smater solutions perspective of their products.
