1.How can I place my order?

You can place your orders by filling out the relevant form on our web site prepared for each product, by the fax number (+90 0262 3219476), or by the e-mail address chsatis@celikhalat.com.tr.

2. What should I consider when placing my order?

In orders for ropes, communicating the relevant standard is absolutely required. If that is not possible, the following information has to be submitted

3. How can I be sure that a purchased product is made by Çelik Halat ve Tel Sanayii A.S. ?

A Quality Certificate comes with all our products when shipping. Please request the quality certificates of the products you purchase from our company or our dealers. Those products having a quality certificate are made by Çelik Halat ve Tel Sanayii A.S. IIn addition to this, in steel ropes:

a. One strand of the steel rope is in red color. (In lubricated ropes, it may not be noticed from the exterior, but when the strands are opened, the red streak becomes visible.)
b. Our identifier, green colored stripe with the inscription of "Çelik Halat ve Tel San. A.S. Izmit/Turkey" are placed inside the steel rope.

4. What should I consider during my complaints?

You should direct all your complaints and wishes to our Sales and Marketing department in writing. For your complaints, please provide the 9 digit order number (for example, 1A02F0101), which we devised for traceability, placed on Quality Certificates and the on the product, the coil/reel number, and if possible the sample that is the subject of the complaint. Without these information, no examination can be carried out on the product. The complaints are processed in the Quality and RD Department, and the result is communicated to you by the Sales and Marketing Department in writing.

5. What are the reasons for damage of steel ropes?

Reasons of Rope Damages:

a. Unsuitable rope composition, diameter and quality.
b. Using the ropes over corrosive barriers, and lifting sharp edged loads by directly contacting them with the rope.
c. Not appropriately lubricating the ropes during service.
d. Operating the ropes on drums and reels with unsuitable dimensions.
e. Operating the ropes on drums one over the other or transversely.
f. Operating the ropes on non-aligned drums or reels.
g. Operating the ropes on unsuitable grooved drums and reels; broken reel flanges.
h. Large fleet angle during winding and unwinding operations
i. Contact of ropes with humid and acidic media.
k. Permitting the loop formation of ropes.
l. Exposing the ropes to high temperatures.
m. Tangling of ropes
n. Overloading the ropes under unsuitable conditions.
o. Corrosive particles moving between the strands and wires and damaging the ropes.
p. Operation factors (This is the most difficult reason to control.)
